A Message from the IADC President: Help During Times of Catastrophic Events

October 10, 2017 03:54 PM

At the end of August, we sent a message with our condolences for those IADC members, friends, and families who were being impacted by the catastrophic weather of Hurricane Harvey.

Unfortunately, we are in a time where natural disasters are hitting hard. Our thoughts and prayers are with those impacted by the recent hurricanes along the Texas coast and Florida, as well as our members affected by the Mexican earthquake, the wildfires in the western United States, and the monsoons in South Asia. Although many who are affected by these types of events have connections to get the help they need, we want you to know that the IADC stands with you and we will provide support where we can.

We have a pinned post at the top of our LinkedIn page that is meant to act as a forum where members can communicate and connect with each other when a catastrophic event occurs causing major dislocation in your area. When and if a catastrophic event happens and you are affected and need help, please use this tool so we can provide assistance.

If there are other ways we can help during these difficult times, please email Mary Beth Kurzak, Executive Director, at mkurzak@iadclaw.org.

Best regards,
