Legal Writing Contest
The Legal Writing Contest Committee administers the IADC Legal Writing Contest, which is conducted each year for J.D. candidates in U.S. law schools approved by the American Bar Association and Canadian law schools listed in the directory of American Association of Law Schools. The members of the committee act as judges of the contest, awarding first, second and third prizes, which carry monetary stipends, as well as honorable mentions. Edited versions of the winning and honorable mention entries are published in Defense Counsel Journal.
