IADC member Alice Spitz has been invited to join the prestigious CLM. The CLM is the largest professional association in the insurance industry with a membership of more than 35,000 professionals in the claims resolution and litigation management industries. Founded in 2007, the CLM membership benefits from our networking events, continuing education programs, and a wide variety of industry resources. Selected attorneys and law firms are extended membership by invitation only based on nominations from CLM Fellows.

Alice is a member of Molod Spitz & DeSantis, P.C. Her practice areas include premises liability, transportation, and environmental litigation. Alice leverages her extensive experience conducting trials as a frequent lecturer, teacher, and author. She provides insight into dozens of areas — from admissible expert testimony to cross-examination techniques — for the benefit of law students, insurance professionals, and women lawyers.

Alice has been elected to membership into the American Board of Trial Advocates. To qualify, a lawyer must first have tried 20 civil jury trials to verdict, and evidence high personal character, honorable reputation, and proficiency as a trial lawyer. Alice also has earned an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell — the highest peer review rating, based on legal ability and ethical standards. She is a member of the American Bar Association, American Board of Trial Advocates, The Harmonie Group, International Association of Defense Counsel, and The National Association of Women Lawyers.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Alice earned her B.A. with honors from the University of Maryland and her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
