Multi-National Legal Privilege Report

In 2007, the IADC published a CD entitled  Multi-National Legal Privilege.  The CD contained papers from 31 countries and offered basic guidance about legal privilege in a standard format for ease of reference.  This CD proved to be very useful to IADC members whether in their own country or in advising clients on multi-national matters.   Thanks to the efforts of the IADC International Committee, on this web page you will find the papers updated to reflect the state of legal privilege in various jurisdictions as of May 2011.  It is a very important compilation of the fundamental rights that legal systems provide clients to speak freely to their lawyers in private in various countries around the world.
