Carl Anthony Maio, a retired partner with Fox Rothschild LLP, was named the 2020 recipient of the Arthur B. Walsh, Jr. Pro Bono Publico Award from Bucks County Bar Association in recognition of his decades-long commitment to pro bono service.
The award is given in honor of the late Arthur B. Walsh Jr., who served on the bench from 1972 to 1979 in the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.
Carl has an insider’s knowledge of the insurance industry, with more than 40 years of experience in its business, financial, and legal aspects. Carl is the Chair of the firm’s Corporate Insurance Department and Insurance Practice Group, and he focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions; insurance; compliance; and coverage issues.
Carl serves on the Board of Directors of numerous insurance and insurance-related companies. He is a frequent lecturer in the U.S., Europe, and Bermuda and regularly publishes articles in various legal publications.
