Christopher C. Lam Installed as President of Mecklenburg County Bar

Christopher C. Lam, managing partner of the Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP Charlotte office, has been installed as president of the Mecklenburg County Bar (MCB) for 2019-2020. Mr. Lam was sworn in on May 23.

“We congratulate Chris as he begins his new role as president of the Mecklenburg County Bar,” said Bradley Chairman of the Board and Managing Partner Jonathan M. Skeeters. “Chris is dedicated to the local legal community, and Bradley is fortunate to benefit from his valuable leadership contributions.”

A member of Bradley’s Litigation Practice Group, Mr. Lam is an experienced litigator and trial lawyer who helps clients across numerous industries protect their business interests in disputes related to contracts, business torts, product liability, non-competes, trade secrets, defamation, LLCs and partnerships, and private equity investments. His clients include individuals, start-up businesses, middle market companies, and public corporations. He practices in state and federal courts across the country, including the North Carolina Business Court.

In addition to the Executive Committee of the MCB, on which he has served in various positions for the past four years, Mr. Lam maintains leadership roles with several other professional and civic organizations. He is a former co-chair of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Administration of Justice Committee and is the immediate past chair of the Business Litigation Committee of the IADC. He also serves on the Board of Visitors for Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy.

The Mecklenburg County Bar serves the public and its 5,400+ members in the greater Charlotte metropolitan legal community, as well as assists the North Carolina State Bar as described by statutory requirements.
