Combatting Plaintiffs' Lawyers' Attempts to Convince Judges That Asking for Millions During Voir Dire is Necessary for a Fair Trial

Plaintiffs' lawyers have been working to convince judges that asking for specific dollar amounts, usually millions of dollars, in jury selection is essential to securing a fair trial - describing it as "testing the waters" not preconditioning. This Webinar will prepare defense counsel to combat plaintiffs' lawyers' attempts to persuade judges that a discussion of specific non-economic damages during voir dire is appropriate rather than argumentative. Experienced trial counsel and a jury consultant will also provide recommendations for how to rehabilitate jurors if a judge ultimately allows specific dollar amounts to be discussed during voir dire.
