Eric Watt Wiechmann, a partner in McCarter & English’s Hartford, CT office, was recently selected as a member of the Connecticut Chapter of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, an organization of experienced arbitrators and mediators.The organization consists of more than 900 attorneys selected for their experience in and commitment to alternative dispute resolution.
Mr. Wiechmann has handled numerous complex cases as an arbitrator and mediator for courts and private parties. The cases range across several areas, including environmental, professional services, torts/product liability, energy, construction, corporate disputes, employment, and breach of contract.
Mr. Wiechmann has represented companies and individuals in federal and state courts and before numerous administrative agencies. His practice is nationwide. He previously served as the firm’s managing partner from 2007-2010.
