Continuing an IADC Conversation About Becoming an Active Ally to the LGBTQ+ Population: How to Get Involved, Increase Your Diverse Attorneys, and Educate Others About Equality and Social Justice

Thursday, October 29, 2020
01:30 PM - 02:30 PM Central Standard Time (US & Mexico)

Please join the IADC Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee for a panel discussion.

Join the IADC at 1:30 p.m. CDT on Thursday, October 29 for a continuation of our diversity, equity, and inclusion discussions focusing on identifying ways each of us can become more than allies in the fight for equality and social justice. This discussion will focus on the experiences of members of the LGBTQ population. LGBTQ individuals continue to experience discrimination and harassment in and outside of the workplace. In 2020, many still feel that they must hide their sexual orientation from co-workers or the world. This program will be a conversation that will include personal stories and concrete action items that will include steps you can take to educate yourself, make changes in your community and your workplace, and how to purposefully work to recruit, retain, and promote LGBTQ individuals in your firms and companies.
