Join the IADC at 12:00 p.m. CDT on Thursday, October 8 for a continuation of our previous diversity, equity, and inclusion discussion focusing on identifying ways each of us can become more than allies in the fight for racial equality and social justice. This discussion will focus on the experiences of Black women who continue to face both racial and social injustice. The number of Black women in law firms has not rebounded in the past 10 years nor has the number of female Black General Counsel grown in any significant way. This program will be a conversation that will include personal stories and concrete action items that will include steps you can take to educate yourself, make changes in your community and your workplace, and how to purposefully work to recruit, retain, and promote the number of Black women in your firms and companies.
