Law firm CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz was named “Best Law Firm,” recognizing their ongoing commitment to diversity and equality in the legal industry. The award was given by Women in Law and the Association of Austrian Corporate Lawyers. It is intended to honor outstanding achievements and innovations in the Austrian legal industry.

IADC members Daniela Karollus-Bruner, Maria Orlyk, and Döne Yalçın, of the firm, are acknowledged for their efforts in this achievement, in particular with the firm’s Ladies League initiative.

Daniela Karollus-Bruner is an IADC Board member and a partner at CMS where she heads the Dispute Resolution Practice Group and the Insurance Law Team. She is also a member of the corporate and commercial law teams. She has 20 years of experience as a lawyer in Vienna and Linz, during which she has specialized in complex litigation and arbitration for companies in a wide range of industries, namely energy, media, banking, financial services, and insurance. She represents Austrian and international clients in litigation and arbitration proceedings, especially in tort, contract, product liability, corporate, and competition law.

Maria Orlyk is a managing partner of CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz in Kyiv and is a reputed partner specializing in corporate/M&A. She has been with CMS in Ukraine since it first commenced operations in the country. She heads one of the most talented corporate and M&A teams on the national legal market. As a partner specialized in corporate and M&A, Maria handles the most challenging cases, always offering business-oriented, timely, and comprehensive legal solutions.

Döne Yalçın is a partner in Vienna, the managing partner of CMS Turkey, and the Head of CMS Sustainability for Austria and CEE. She is admitted to the bar in both Austria and Turkey. Döne has more than 18 years of professional experience and advises clients on a wide range of legal matters, especially corporate law/M&A and litigation and arbitration. She also heads the LegalTech and Knowledge Management areas in Vienna and CEE.
