Stephanie Carfley, Member with McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC, has been named co-chair of the firm's Litigation Practice Group to support continued geographic expansion, team growth, and service development.
Stephanie handles complex claims and cases from initial dispute through to trial, as necessary. She draws on her substantial federal and state court experience to identify strategies that use litigation to obtain business objectives. Over the course of her nearly 30-year career, Stephanie has tried numerous bench and jury trials as lead counsel, and regularly works as local or regional counsel with clients and attorneys located in other jurisdictions.
Stephanie has significant experience representing public entities in condemnation actions, including asserting the right of public utilities to condemn property in connection with Marcellus Shale pipeline and infrastructure projects, and litigating just compensation and damages claims related to the same. Her practice also includes litigating restrictive covenant disputes, business torts, real estate matters, and other commercial civil litigation.
