Globalization of Class Actions with Products at the Forefront and The 'New Normal': Why Clients Are Demanding 'Value' and What Law Firms Are Doing (or Not) to Meet the Challenge are just a couple of the Major programs available. The International and Environmental, Energy and Maritime Law Committees are joining forces to bring Sean Murphy, Professor of Law at George Washington University, and Mikio Tanaka of City-Yuwa Partners in Tokyo, Japan, to the meeting. They will discuss International law pertaining to state responsibility for transboundary harm, particularly with respect to the radiation released from the Fukushima I nuclear power plant after the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami.
