NOTICE: IADC Election Information
While we are not meeting in person for our Annual Meeting, we will continue the critical work of our Nominating Committee to help elect our new Board members for the 2020-2021 year. This year, we will fill positions for President-Elect, Vice President of International, and three at-large Board members. In addition, Donna Lamontagne, who is currently Treasurer-Elect, will be elected to the Secretary-Treasurer position. We hope you will review the election information carefully. Our process will include video meetings with the Nominating Committee, chaired by Past President Joe O’Neil, as well as allow comments submitted in writing. The Nominating Committee will be announced at our virtual Opening Session on July 6 at 3:30 p.m. US Central time. We will provide information on how to join that meeting and encourage all members to attend. The Nominating Committee will announce its slate of Board members for vote during our virtual Closing Session on Friday, July 10 at 3:30 p.m. US Central time. Again, we encourage all members to attend that meeting. Please note that we have assessed this process carefully, and it is compliant with our bylaws.
While it isn’t going to be exactly the same experience as providing your comments at the Annual Meeting, we hope that the convenience of this virtual setting will allow more people to provide comments, and we encourage your participation in the process. You can offer comments on any or all positions that are open this year. There is more information on what to consider when giving comments in the election document.
