The IADC is pleased to announce that Alex J. Hagan will lead CLE planning efforts for the 2023-2024 year as Continuing Legal Education Committee Chair.

Alex Hagan serves as the head of the litigation group at Ellis & Winters. His practice includes product liability defense, as well as the defense of laboratories, hospitals, nursing homes, and individual health care providers. Alex also has extensive commercial litigation experience, representing software manufacturers, retail chains, and other product manufacturers in contract, trademark, and employment disputes. Alex has considerable jury trial experience in tort and commercial matters in both state and federal court. As one of its founding members of the firm, Alex has played a crucial role in helping to build Ellis & Winters into a firm that provides exceptional client service while minimizing the bureaucracy and costs that can be associated with a larger firm.

Alex has been a active member of the IADC since 2007. In that time, he has chaired both the Intellectual Property Committee and Technology Committee. He has also served as the Chair of the 2015 Annual Meeting Steering Committee. That same year, he served on the IADC Trial Academy faculty. Over the past several years, Alex has served on several CLE steering committees. Currently, he serves as Vice President of the IADC Foundation Board.

We are so pleased to have Alex give his time, talent, and energy and thank him in advance for all of his efforts for the continuing legal education in 2023-2024.
