IADC President Amy Sherry Fischer, a shareholder at Foliart Huff Ottaway & Bottom, has been selected as one of this year's recipients of the DRI Mary Massaron Award for the Advancement of Women in the Legal Profession.
Fellow recipients of this year's award include the sister organization Presidents of the ADTA, DRI, and FDCC during the 2019/2020 year: Lori V. Berke (ADTA President), Emily G. Coughlin (DRI President-Elect), and Elizabeth Lorell (FDCC President).
This award was created for a person who stands as an innovator and role model and one who has made significant efforts to advance women in the legal profession. The award is presented annually to a DRI member who has demonstrated a high regard for diversity and a commitment to advocating the inclusion and promotion of women as well as fostering women's initiatives and actively promoting positive mentoring relationships with other women in the legal profession.
The award will be presented at DRI's Women in Law Seminar Awards Luncheon on Thursday, January 23 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
