Jim Shelson

Jim Shelson is a partner with Phelps Dunbar LLP in Jackson, Mississippi. His practice includes a broad array of challenging subject matter, often involving technical expert evidence in the areas of toxicology, epidemiology, medical science and causation. He also handles commercial disputes and first-party coverage litigation. Jim is licensed in Mississippi, Florida, and Alabama. He has substantial jury trial and appellate experience in both state and federal courts. He is also the author of a book about Mississippi chancery court practice.
