Bonnie Mayfield, a member of Dykema’s Litigation and Labor & Employment practices, was a featured presenter at the 5th Annual POWER Detroit conference on Thursday, October 23, at the MGM Grand Detroit.
Bonnie served as one of two panelists for “The Art of the Ask” presentation. This workshop focused on negotiating tactics. As a springboard for discussion and questions, the workshop used research by Selena Rezvani, author, Pushback- how smart women ask – AND STAND UP – for what they want. Among other topics, the panel discussed how to approach and what to do during negotiations.
Bonnie’s extensive practice, which involves litigation and negotiation, yielded a wealth of experience and tangible suggestions, which she shared with the audience. A skilled presenter, Bonnie’s comments were resoundingly well received and audience members said that Mayfield’s comments were insightful and on point.
