Bradley Arant Boult Cummings Appoints Lela Hollabaugh as Nashville Office Managing Partner

Lela Hollabaugh, a partner at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP, has been appointed managing partner of the firm’s Nashville office. Ms. Hollabaugh succeeds partner Robert S. Patterson in leading the Nashville office. She will also continue serving as practice team leader for the firm’s Business Litigation Team.

As the Nashville office managing partner, Ms. Hollabaugh will guide and help advance the short- and long-term goals of the firm in Nashville and the region. Her leadership underlines Bradley Arant’s commitment to fostering a work environment that helps women to excel in their legal careers.

Lela has served as the lead trial attorney in more than a dozen jury trials, as well as more than two dozen bench trials, arbitrations and administrative hearings. She advises leading natural gas pipeline companies on issues involving location, land acquisition, construction and operations, and is currently advising on several large-scale pipeline projects in the southeast. Ms. Hollabaugh also represents leading pharmaceutical, medical device and other manufacturers in matters ranging from individual lawsuits to mass tort cases. She is actively involved in several mass tort matters around the county.

Ms. Hollabaugh has served in several leadership positions in legal, industry, and government organizations. She is general counsel to the Nashville Bar Association and a trustee of the Nashville Bar Foundation. She is a past-president of the Nashville Bar Association and is a past member of the International Association of Defense Counsel’s Board of Directors. As a former chair of the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility, Ms. Hollabaugh is also listed on the American Arbitration Association’s (AAA) Roster of Neutrals for Commercial Litigation. She holds a J.D. and B.S. (with honors) from the University of Tennessee.
