Bruce Barze Elected to DRI Board of Directors

Balch & Bingham partner R. Bruce Barze, Jr. was elected to the Board of Directors of DRI as Regional Director for the Southeast Region. He will serve a three-year term from 2011–2014. Bruce has been an active member of DRI since 1993, particularly on the “SLDO side” of DRI, having served as President of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and, for the last three years, as the DRI State Representative for Alabama.

Bruce is a technology oriented litigation attorney with substantial experience handling business, insurance, and environmental litigation and defending high-stakes personal injury and wrongful death cases. He has litigated matters in courts throughout the Southeastern U.S. and in Colorado, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
