Catherine Templeton Confirmed as the Director of the Department of Health and Environmental Control

The South Carolina Senate voted to confirm Catherine Templeton as the Director of the Department of Health and Environmental Control (“DHEC”). Last year, Governor Nikki Haley appointed Catherine the Director of South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation. After a successful year at the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, the DHEC board hired Catherine to lead the largest state agency, consisting of over 4500 employees.
