Charles W. Browning is Elected to the American College of Coverage and Extracontractual Counsel

Charles W. Browning, a partner at Plunkett Cooney in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, was recently inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Coverage and Extracontractual Counsel (ACCEC).

The ACCEC is composed of insurance coverage and extracontractual counsel in the United States and Canada. Membership is by invitation-only and is reserved exclusively for attorneys who have engaged substantially in the practice of insurance law for at least 15 consecutive years, and who have met the ACCEC Board of Regents' requirements. The ACCEC is focused on the creative, ethical, and efficient adjudication of insurace coverage and extra-contractual disputes, peer-provided scholarships, professional coordination and the improvement of relationships between and among diverse members. 

A member of Plunkett Cooney's Board of Directors and co-chair of the firm's Insurance Coverage Practice Group, Browning is known nationally for his experience and expertise in the area of insurance coverage litigation. He has the distinction of serving as coverage counsel for several major property and casualty insurance companies and appears in courts throughout the country.
