The IADC is pleased to announce that Christopher B. Parkerson and Marsha M. Piccone have been appointed Editor and Editor-Elect respectively of the Defense Counsel Journal.

Christopher B. Parkerson has been appointed Editor and Chair of the Defense Counsel Journal Board of Editors for 2020-2022.

He is a Member of Campbell Conroy & O’Neil, P.C. and serves on its Board of Directors. Christopher has extensive trial experience representing national and international corporations in the defense of catastrophic product liability, commercial, intellectual property, professional liability, and negligence matters throughout the United States. Christopher’s jury trial experience, combined with his work ethic and approach to the lawyer-client relationship, has allowed him to successfully guide clients through all aspects of litigation from Lead Trial Counsel to guidance on such issues as pre-suit ADR, witness preparation, and mock trials.

Christopher is a frequent author and speaker on topics related to the practice of law.

Marsha M. Piccone has been appointed Editor-Elect of the Defense Counsel Journal, to become Editor in 2022.

She is a partner in the Denver office of Fox Rothschild LLP and Co-Chair of the firm’s Appellate Practice Group. A former judge on the Colorado Court of Appeals, Marsha centers her practice on complex commercial litigation, product liability, and appeals. Her experience includes serving as regional and national counsel and on trial teams in state and federal courts throughout the country. Marsha is also frequently asked in high-stakes litigation to advise on appellate issues in advance of, during, and after trial. The Colorado Supreme Court appointed her in 2009 to serve as the Chair of its Committee on Pattern Civil Jury Instructions and she has been a member of the committee since 2004.

We are pleased to have Christopher and Marsha lead the Defense Counsel Journal, and appreciate all of their work and effort.
