Christopher C. Lam is Appointed to Board of Visitors at Duke University's Sanford School of Public Policy

Christopher C. Lam, a Member in the Business Litigation Group at Nexsen Pruet in Charlotte, North Carolina, has been appointed by the President of Duke University to a three year term on the Board of Visitors for the Sanford School of Public Policy.

Named for Terry Sanford, the former Duke president and North Carolina governor and senator, the Sanford School offers wide-ranging programs on child and family policy, national security, international development and many other issues facing society. The public policy major is one of the most popular among Duke undergraduates and its master's in public policy is ranked among the country's top 10 policy analysis programs. The School's Board of Visitors provides advice and support regarding curriculum, programs, development, external relations and other matters.

Lam earned his undergraduate degree in public policy studies from Duke in 1998 and then served three years on the Duke University Board of Trustees following his graduation. Lam has broad experience in a wide range of practice areas including litigating disputes in State and Federal Courts; and arbitrations relation to contracts, trade secrets, pharmaceutical product liability, defamation, motorsports, professional negligence/discipline, and private equity investments.
