IADC member Christopher C. Lam joins Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP as a partner in the Litigation Practice Group.

Chris Lam has a diverse litigation practice, representing clients ranging from individuals to public corporations in disputes related to contracts, earn-outs, trade secrets, business torts, product liability, LLCs and partnerships, defamation, non-competes, and private equity investments. He also regularly counsels clients in business issues and contract drafting and negotiation. He practices in state and federal courts across the country and has experience in jury trials and arbitrations. Mr. Lam has leadership involvement with many professional and civic groups, including the International Association of Defense Counsel, North Carolina Courts Commission, North Carolina Bar Foundation’s Administration of Justice Committee, North Carolina State Board of Law Examiners Bar Candidate Committee, and the Mecklenburg County Bar, where he serves as Secretary. He has also held numerous leadership roles with Duke University, including current service on the Sanford School of Public Policy Board of Visitors, Alumni Admissions Advisory Committee, and Duke Engage Charlotte Steering Committee. He is a former member of the Duke University Board of Trustees.

Mr. Lam is recognized in several professional rankings and publications, including: Chambers & Partners USA - “Leading Individual” in Litigation: General Commercial; Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation; North Carolina Super Lawyer®; North Carolina “Legal Elite” by Business North Carolina; and a Benchmark Litigation Future Star. He earned a J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a Chancellors Scholar, and a B.A., cum laude, from Duke University, where he was a Benjamin N. Duke Scholar and Harry S. Truman Scholar.
