Deirdre C. McGlinchey, member at McGlinchey, Stafford, P.L.L.C., has been named to the 2022 Irish Legal 100. The award reception took place in Washington, DC at the home of the Irish Ambassador to the United States on October 19.
“My family and I are extremely proud of our Irish heritage,” Deirdre said. “Having spent my childhood summers in County Kerry with my grandmother and many family members, being recognized among my Irish peers in the legal profession is a distinct honor.”
Deirdre, a dual citizen of the United States and Ireland, was previously named to the Irish Legal 100 in 2016, making this her second time to receive the honor. She has been involved with numerous Irish American organizations, including the Irish American Business Chamber & Network, Irish American Cultural Institute, American Irish Historical Society, and Irish Network New Orleans. Deirdre has also proudly served as the Honorary Consul for the Kingdom of the Netherlands since 2017.
Deirdre regularly represents domestic and international clients in product liability cases involving individual claims, class actions, and multidistrict litigation. She has handled matters involving construction, mining, and agricultural equipment; diesel and natural gas engines; industrial turbines; automotive design; marine propulsion systems; toxic torts; and medical devices. She has tried cases in state and federal courts throughout the country.
The Irish Legal 100 was founded in 2008 by the Irish Voice newspaper in New York. The annual compilation highlights the most distinguished legal professionals in the United States who share one common bond: pride in their Irish roots.
