Elizabeth B. Davis has been named Atlanta office co-chair of Thompson Hine LLP's Diversity & Inclusion Initiative. She will oversee the firm's diversity and inclusion efforts in the Atlanta area.

Long committed to diversity and inclusion as part of its culture, Thompson Hine was selected in 2010 by Multicultural Law magazine as one of the top U.S. firms for diversity.

Davis, a partner in the Environmental and Product Liability Litigation practice groups, focuses her environmental practice on regulatory compliance, permitting, enforcement defense and litigation and her product liability practice on consumer product safety requirements. She is active in professional and community organizations such as the Atlanta Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, the International Association of Defense Counsel and the Stonewall Bar Association. She also serves on the board of the Suzi Bass Awards for excellence in theater in the greater Atlanta community.

"I'm very pleased to have this opportunity," says Davis. "We are proud of our firm's diverse makeup and inclusive culture, which enhance our ability to serve both our clients and our communities."

"Thompson Hine has an impressive dedication to being an agent of change with regard to diversity efforts within the legal profession," says Martinez. "I'm proud to serve with Beth in leading the initiative in Atlanta."
"Beth will lead our diversity and inclusion efforts in Atlanta with focus and strength," says David Hooker, the firm's managing partner. "We embrace the challenges and opportunities created by our commitment to diversity. A positive and supportive work environment is a key part of our ability to provide superior client service."
