Please join us for the Northwest Virtual Regional Meeting on Wednesday, October 20.


On Wednesday, October 20 at 6:00 p.m. Mountain time/7:00 p.m. Central time, we will host our Northwest Virtual Regional Meeting. This BYOB event will be held via Zoom, and we look forward to connecting with you.

Meeting Details:
Keely Duke will give a short presentation discussing juries both during and after the pandemic.

Sean McNally will present “Whisk(e)y, an Exploration of Bourbon and Scotch” highlighting the differences and similarities between Bourbon and Scotch.  Alison Hunter will then demonstrate how to make a cocktail using both selections. You can follow along and put your mixology skills to use, or feel free to just grab a beverage or cocktail of your choice to enjoy during the meeting.

The Selections
Woodinville Straight Bourbon (NW selection) and Lagavulin 16 year. Both are readily accessible at your local area stores.

Idaho Summer Cocktail Recipe
• 4 mint leaves
• 1.75 oz bourbon
• .25 oz Islay scotch or other peaty scotch (we are using Lagavulin 16)
• .5 oz simple syrup
• .75 oz fresh lime juice
• absinthe to rinse the glass

Muddle mint leaves with simple syrup. Combine remaining ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into absinthe rinsed rocks glass with one large ice cube.

Registration Instructions

Every attendee must register themselves for the Regional Meeting (IADC member or non-member), and you need to be logged in with a username and password in order to register. If you have ever attended an IADC meeting before, you already have a username and password. If you cannot remember your password, please email Diana Leon, Administrative Assistant, at dleon@iadclaw.org.

If this is your first time registering for an event, you will need to create an account when prompted on the registration page and then continue with your registration.

When registering, please select the "Register Myself" button, then answer the question and press the “Save Response” button, followed by the "Proceed to Checkout" button, and finally the "Submit Order" button in order to complete your registration.
