The IADC is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for meeting attendees.
IADC Midyear Meeting COVID Requirements
All attendees must have proof of vaccination or negative COVID test within 72 hours to attend the meeting.
Vaccination documentation can be the physical card or some form of electronic verification. (examples: photo on your phone of your vaccine card, proof of vaccine record through a pharmacy or medical provider app, your country or city’s tracking app). Vaccination means you are two weeks from completing your COVID vaccination. Boosters are strongly encouraged but not required to attend.
You will show your documentation to the IADC staff upon arrival at the registration desk to collect your registration materials and badge. If you are unvaccinated, the COVID test should be a PCR or rapid test documented with your name and the date administered.
If you do not have either of these pieces of documentation, the IADC will have a limited number of rapid COVID tests available to purchase for $20 each that you can take in a designated and private area near the registration desk. With the negative rapid test, you will be able to collect your badge. If the IADC runs out of rapid tests, we will have a list of local pharmacies at which you can get one.
For those attending with a guest, please bring your guest with you to registration or bring their proof of vaccination or negative COVID test with you. If you do not bring their documentation, we will keep their badge at the registration desk, and they can bring their documentation later to pick up their badge.
General Safety Practices
We are looking forward to a safe and productive meeting. While masks are not required in Scottsdale, we encourage mask wearing in close indoor meeting and social situations. We also ask everyone to be respectful of people’s decisions with regard to social distancing. We will have stickers available at the meeting that you can put on your badge to indicate whether you feel comfortable greeting people with handshakes and hugs, elbow bumps or a non-contact hello.
COVID Testing
We encourage people to bring rapid tests with them, and if at any time during the meeting you are feeling ill with potential COVID symptoms, please refrain from attending IADC events and take a rapid test. For those who require negative COVID tests to travel home after the meeting or wish to obtain a PCR or rapid test off site from the hotel, please see the resources below.
