Cooking and Conversation with Sarah and Trent Spurlock (Cyber Security, Data Privacy and Technology Committee)

Sunday, April 25, 2021
07:00 PM - 08:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (Eastern Time (US & Canada))

IADC Foundation Cooking and Conversations are a series of informal, one hour cooking demonstrations and conversation based on recipes from the IADC Foundation’s cookbook, International Accumulation of Delightful Cuisine. For the Spring Cooking and Conversation schedule, we’ve invited IADC Committee leaders to host an event for their Committee members to join in and get to know each other. Any member can attend, but this is a great opportunity to get to know people from the host Committee better.

Join Cyber Security, Data Privacy and Technology Committee Chair Sarah and Trent Spurlock for a one hour cooking and conversation demonstration on Sunday, April 25 at 7:00 p.m. EDT.

They will be making Daniel Quinn’s Grilled Salmon with Ginger Soy Sauce. In addition, since it is close to their hometown event, the Kentucky Derby, we’ll be enjoying some signature Kentucky cocktails. Find your best Derby hat or outfit and plan to attend!

The recipe will be included with your confirmation, or you can find the recipe on page 51 of the cookbook. You can cook along or just grab coffee or a cocktail and relax and watch the demonstration. The event will be through Zoom.

Sarah is with Stites & Harbison PLLC in Louisville, Kentucky. Trent is with Dinsmore & Shohl LLP in Louisville, Kentucky.

IADC Zoom Links

If you’ve registered for a virtual IADC meeting and have had difficulty locating your Zoom link (each registrant receives a specific link to them), below are some helpful tips:

  • After registering, you will receive an email from the IADC staffer coordinating the meeting which uses this no-reply@zoom.us address to send your link. Please be sure you whitelist that address as it could get caught in your spam filters. In addition, you are able to add the meeting and your Zoom link to your calendar through this email.
  • NEW! Your IADC website profile. We recently updated member profiles to include your links to any virtual IADC meeting for which you are registered. Go to your account, and when you click to view/edit your account, go to the “Meeting Participation” tab. There you'll find “Upcoming Virtual Meetings/Virtual Links” which includes your Zoom link for each of your registered meetings. You can copy and paste your specific Zoom link into your browser to join the meeting.
