Sunday, November 15, 2020
03:00 PM - 04:00 PM Central Standard Time (US & Mexico)

United States

The IADC Foundation presents its Cooking and Conversation series, a series of informal, one hour cooking demonstrations and conversation based on recipes from the IADC Foundation’s new cookbook, International Accumulation of Delightful Cuisine.

*FAMILY FRIENDLY*

Join Sherry Knutson, Rupert Vaughan, and son Xavier Vaughan on Sunday, November 15 at 3:00 p.m. CST for our next Cooking and Conversation.

Sherry, Rupert, and Xavier will be demonstrating a family Thanksgiving tradition, lefse. The recipe comes from Sherry’s grandmother and will be a great way to kick off your holiday baking. They will also share some creative things you can do with the lefse. Children and other family members are invited and welcome to participate in the demo.

The recipe will be included with your confirmation and you can cook along or just grab coffee or a cocktail and relax and watch the demonstration. If you cook along with the demonstration, please note you will want to make the mashed potatoes the night before and have them chill in the refrigerator overnight. The event will be through Zoom and will last one hour.

Sherry is with Tucker Ellis in Chicago, Illinois USA.

IADC Zoom Links

If you’ve registered for a virtual IADC meeting and have had difficulty locating your Zoom link (each registrant receives a specific link to them), below are some helpful tips:

  • After registering, you will receive an email from the IADC staffer coordinating the meeting which uses this no-reply@zoom.us address to send your link. Please be sure you whitelist that address as it could get caught in your spam filters. In addition, you are able to add the meeting and your Zoom link to your calendar through this email.
  • NEW! Your IADC website profile. We recently updated member profiles to include your links to any virtual IADC meeting for which you are registered. Go to your account, and when you click to view/edit your account, go to the “Meeting Participation” tab. There you'll find “Upcoming Virtual Meetings/Virtual Links” which includes your Zoom link for each of your registered meetings. You can copy and paste your specific Zoom link into your browser to join the meeting.
