Following the murder of George Floyd, many Americans and allies around the world are protesting against police brutality and in support of Black Lives Matter. Now, more Americans are engaging in uncomfortable conversations about discrimination, structural inequities and micro-aggressions that many black people endure each day. The Diversity and Inclusion Committee intends to keep these candid conversations moving forward to increase comfort and sustainable growth within the IADC membership.
To that end, please join us on Thursday, July 2 at 4:00 p.m. Central for an intimate discussion with JT Wilson III about how black professionals feel “knees on their necks” within the legal profession, and how we can all be allies to our black friends and colleagues.
