Pat Gillette, author of Rainmakers: Born or Bred and nationally recognized speaker on issues associated with the professional advancement of women in the legal profession, will share her insight into best practices for stepping out of the safety net of simply being a great lawyer to developing the skills that attract and build successful client relationships. She will also address whether you need to be born with these characteristics or can develop them. Spoiler alert: you can develop the necessary characteristics.
Our panel of highly successful women in-house and outside counsel will share their views on business development and how to build and develop long-term sustainable relationships that add true value. The panel will also address how to achieve the same level of connection and success even when the pandemic may change the methods by which business is generated and clients and counsel communicate. While the panel will focus on business development for women lawyers, all IADC members can benefit from attending, and we encourage male IADC members to join the program.
