The IADC Trial Academy offers lawyers with less experience in the courtroom a way to practice and learn quickly how to be successful in trial. During the course of the week, attendees work on major aspects of the trial, first observing 15 of the best trial lawyers in demonstrations and then practicing themselves. Their work is videotaped and their faculty advisors sit down with them individually to review their work and discuss how to improve. Attendees report each year that it is one of the most valuable things they have ever done for their careers. Only 105 attendees are accepted each year.
