IADC member George Wolf, currently a partner at Shook Hardy & Bacon LLP in Kansas City, has been appointed Circuit Court Judge for the 16th Judicial Circuit of Missouri by Governor Eric Greitens.

George has been an integral part of Shook's growth and success throughout his career. Having more than 30 years of experience, George has focused his practice on intellectual property, mass tort, product liability, and business litigation. In 2000, George obtained the top defense verdict in Missouri. He obtained his law degree from Northwestern University and his undergraduate degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri.

He has been a member of the firm's Executive Committee and a chair of the firm's General Litigation & Business Services Division. George has received the firm's Mosaic award in 2016, given to attorneys who demonstrate exceptional leadership in promoting diversity and inclusion awareness.

For the past 10 years, George has served on the Board of Commissioners for the Port Authority of Kansas City, Missouri, serving as the Board chair since 2012. He also has served on the boards of the Downtown Council of Kansas City and the Kansas City Streetcar Transportation Development District, as well as in various leadership positions in Second Presbyterian Church. In 2015, Ingram’s recognized Wolf as one of the “50 Missourians You Should Know.”
