J. Calhoun "Cal" Watson will be sworn in today as the 2014-15 President of the South Carolina Bar.
Watson is Managing Member of the law firm Sowell Gray Stepp & Laffitte in Columbia. He practices in the areas of professional liability, commercial litigation, and business dispute resolution. He is also a certified South Carolina Circuit Court mediator. He earned his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law after graduating summa cum laude from Wofford College.
The South Carolina Bar, which has a membership of more than 15,000 lawyers, is dedicated to advancing justice, professionalism, and understanding of the law.
