IADC member Mike Weston, a founding member of Lederer Weston Craig, PLC in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was elected President of the National Foundation For Judicial Excellence (NFJE) at its 2016 Annual Symposium in Chicago on July 15, 2016. Mike has served on the NFJE Board since 2012. He served as Symposium Chair in 2011.
The National Foundation for Judicial Excellence was founded in 2004. Its mission is to support a strong, independent, responsive judiciary by providing officers of the courts with educational programs and other tools that enable them to perform at their highest level. Over 190 state appellate judges were in attendance at the Symposium, NFJE’s 12th.
