John E. Hall, Jr. Received Defense Verdict in Murfreesboro, Tennessee

IADC member, John E. Hall, Jr., along with his partner, Jamas Looper received a defense verdict in a case pending in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mr. Hall represented two physicians and their group who were accused of alleged failure to diagnose appendicitis in a 30 week pregnant mother allegedly resulting in early delivery causing cerebral palsy and mental retardation. Plaintiff's pre-trial demand was $8.5 million and amount presented to the jury at closing was $11.2 million. The jury deliberated about 3 hours and returned a verdict for all defendants.
