IADC member Karen Glickstien, a shareholder at Polsinelli PC, has been named one of the Top 50 Female Lawyers in Missouri and Kansas by Super Lawyers, as well as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Missouri and Kansas by Super Lawyers.
Karen focuses her practice on assisting employers in a wide variety of employment and human resources issues. In addition to providing day to day preventative advice to clients, Ms. Glickstein has tried several employment matters to jury verdict and in arbitration. She represents clients in front of a number of administrative agencies, as well as in state and federal courts throughout the country. Ms. Glickstein speaks and writes frequently and has recently spent a significant amount of time advising clients, lawyers, and judges on legal issues arising out of the increased proliferation of social media. Ms. Glickstein was appointed by the Missouri Supreme Court to its Civil Rules of Procedure Committee, of which she currently serves as a member. She is also the co-chair of the Missouri Bar’s Women in the Profession Committee. She is a past chair of DRI’s Employment Law Committee and a past member of DRI’s Law Institute. She is also a past Board Member of the Board of Directors of both DRI and of the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers. Karen also served as a faculty member of the 2016 IADC Trial Academy. She currently serves as Board Chair of Village Shalom, a continuing care retirement community in Kansas.
