Determined through peer nominations and research, the Rising Stars directory recognizes the top up-and-coming lawyers in the state. This distinction is given to only two percent of attorneys in Texas, and to be eligible attorneys must have been in practice for fewer than 10 years or be 40 years of age or younger.
Kate represents product manufacturers in multi-district and individually-filed products liability cases. She is especially interested in medical devices affecting women’s health. She serves as first-chair trial counsel for an international medical-device manufacturer facing tens of thousands of suits across the country and thrives in the “virtual law firm” model often utilized for those trial teams.
