Michelle A. Hernandez Appointed Regional President of Hispanic National Bar Association

Michelle Hernandez, of Modrall Sperling, has been appointed to a two-year term as regional president of the Hispanic National Bar Association for the region that includes New Mexico and Utah.

Founded in 1972, the Hispanic National Bar Association, one of the largest professional organizations in the country, is comprised of thousands of Hispanic lawyers, law professors, law students, legal professionals, state and federal judges; legislators, and bar affiliates operating across the country.

Hernandez focuses her practice on health care, product liability and personal injury litigation. She is certified as a health law specialist by the New Mexico Board of Legal Specialization. She received her undergraduate degree from The University of New Mexico and her law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. Hernandez served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Joseph F. Baca for the New Mexico Supreme Court. She is a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, member of International Association of Defense Counsel, and past-president of the New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association.
