Monica A. Frois Named to Hermann-Grima and Gallier Historic Houses Board of Managers

Monica A. Frois, a shareholder in Baker Donelson's New Orleans office, has been named to the board of managers of the Hermann-Grima and Gallier Historic Houses.

The Hermann-Grima and Gallier Historic Houses are museums located in New Orleans' historic French Quarter. The museums are run by The Women's Exchange, which strives to make a difference in historic preservation by restoring and maintaining the 19th century houses and interpreting their contribution and place within the city. 

Ms. Frois has more than 20 years of experience in health care matters as well as complex litigation, insurance issues, legal ethics, and professional responsibility litigation. She represents health care systems, hospital service districts, hospitals, physicians, nursing homes, and numerous other health care providers in operational, compliance, regulatory, and transactional issues as well as a wide variety of litigation. Ms. Frois has served on the Medical/Legal Interprofessional Committee of the Louisiana State Medical Society and the Louisiana State Bar Association and was appointed vice chair of membership for the Medical Defense & Health Law Committee of the International Association of Defense Counsel.

Since 2006, Ms. Frois has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America® and was named the Best Lawyers' 2012 New Orleans Medical Malpractice Law – Defendants "Lawyer of the Year." She has also been recognized by Louisiana Super Lawyers since 2010 and has been named to the publication's list of "Top 25 Female Attorneys" in the state of Louisiana since 2011. Ms. Frois currently serves on the board of directors of Save Our Cemeteries and of the NOLA City Dog Park.
