Patricia Lowry Elected Chair of the Supreme Court of Florida’s Judicial Ethics Advisory Committee

Patricia E. Lowry, a nationally known product liability defense lawyer, has been elected chair of the Supreme Court of Florida’s Judicial Ethics Advisory Committee.

The committee offers advisory opinions to inquiring judges relating to the propriety of contemplated judicial and non-judicial conduct.

Lowry will have a one-year term as committee chair. She has served on the committee since 2006, when The Florida Bar Board of Governors appointed her to the committee.

“I’m very honored to have this opportunity to serve the legal community,” Lowry said.

Lowry focuses her practice on product liability and employment litigation, with expertise in pharmaceutical product liability defense.

She is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. National legal guides including Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America, Benchmark: Litigation, The Legal 500 US and Chambers USA America’s Leading Lawyers for Business have recognized her. Lowry is consistently recognized among Florida’s Legal Elite by Florida Trend, and as a Top Lawyer in Florida by the South Florida Legal Guide. Florida Super Lawyers 2011 lists Lowry among the Top 50 Women and the Top 100 Lawyers.
