R. Bruce Barze, Jr., a partner at Barze Taylor Noles Lowther LLC, has been elected President-Elect of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys (ADTA) for 2026-2027.
ADTA members are recognized for their proven records and respected reputations in the legal community. Bruce is a recognized defense practitioner, having been recognized by Chambers USA and Legal 500 in Commercial Litigation and selected as a member of ABOTA (American Board of Trial Advocates). Best Lawyers in America have recognized Bruce for his capability in the fields of Bet-the-Company Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Insurance Law, Litigation – Environmental, and Product Liability Litigation – Defendants. Best Lawyers also recently recognized him as the 2026 "Lawyer of the Year" in Product Liability Litigation - Defendants in Birmingham. This is his second time to receive this honor for his product liability work. Bruce received that same designation in 2020 and also has previously received the "Lawyer of the Year" designation in Insurance Law two times, in 2019 and 2024.
