The International Corporate Counsel College (ICCC) on 6-7 October 2011 in Paris offers an exciting program not only for in-house lawyers, but also for their counsel. The ICCC is a great way to learn about issues and possible solutions in a collegial environment.
The topics planned by the ICCC Advisory Board for the conference this year are highly relevant to all lawyers who do not solely deal with domestic issues. All outside counsel need to understand and address their clients' exposure to the increasing risk of investigations by authorities, from wherever they may come. Other program panels will give advice that all IADC members can use in their daily practices. Subjects to be explored include how to deal with North American litigation features such as discovery or class actions in civil law systems or with international clients. Panelists will also discuss best practices in the interaction between in-house and outside counsel.
