Two longtime Vinson & Elkins Partners Robert M. Schick and Morgan L. Copeland, Jr. form a new Houston litigation boutique law firm, Schick & Copeland LLP.

Robert M. Schick has nearly 30 years of experience in all aspects of litigation - products liability, oil and gas/energy, complex tort, pharmaceutical, environmental, and class-wide litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. He is certificed in personal injury trial law and civil trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is admitted to practice in the State Bar of Texas; the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas; and all Texas state courts. He received his A.B. from Princeton University and his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center.

Morgan L. Copeland, Jr. has represented cases in a variety of practice areas, including business/commercial litigation; oil and gas litigation; catastrophic events; environmental/toxic tort/class action litigation; product liability; patent infringement litigation; and professional malpractice. He is certificed in civil trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is admitted to practice in the State Bar of Texas; the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Western, and Eastern Districts of Texas/ and all Texas state courts. He received his B.B.A., with honors,  from the University of Texas and his J.D., with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law.
