Stuart Clark, a partner in Clayton Utz's Sydney offce, was recognized in this year's Order of Australia 2015 Honours List.

Stuart has been made a Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia (AM) for his significant service to the law through senior roles with professional legal bodies, and to the NSW rural fire service.

The Order of Australia is Australia's highest recognition for outstanding achievement and service to the community. This is a great honour for Stuart, and reflects his standing both in the profession and the broader community.

It's a fitting recognition for the many admirable contributions Stuart has made to the legal profession throughout his career, and the contributions he will continue to make when he takes up his appointment as President of the Law Council of Australia next year.

Stuart has been a very active member of the IADC since 1993. He served on the IADC's Board of Directors from 2001 to 2004 and as a Director of the Foundation of the IADC from 2007 to 2013.
