Beirne, Maynard & Parsons LLP Partner Scott D. Marrs received a high distinction for 2014 as the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre's (HKIAC) Panel Selection Committee named the Houston-based attorney to the HKIAC Panel of Arbitrators.
HKIAC is a non-profit organization that administers arbitrations and other dispute resolution activities, including mediation and adjudication, in Asian countries. The Centre is governed by a council composed of leading businesspeople and professionals from all around the world and was formed in 1985.
Marrs, a partner in the firm's Houston office who has more than 20 years' experience in litigation and legal counseling, also holds recognition by the American Arbitration Association, the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution, the International Chamber of Commerce, and the London Court of International Arbitration.
