Thomas Rouhette will now lead the global Product Liability practice of Hogan Lovells.

Thomas was called to the Paris Bar in 1992 and heads the Litigation practice in Hogan Lovells' Paris office, which is one of the largest practices in Paris.

He specializes in commercial litigation and product liability disputes and regularly appears before the French commercial, civil, and criminal courts on behalf of leading French and international clients.

Thomas' product liability litigation experience is in international disputes, largely in relation to consumer goods, industrial equipment, life sciences, so-called hazardous substances, industrial risks, and in the food, automotive, and aviation sectors. He is also an expert in product safety.

Thomas Rouhette is taking over from John Meltzer, partner in our London office, who successfully led the practice for 15 years.

The Product Liability practice at Hogan Lovells today counts around 120 lawyers, including 35 partners in more than 19 offices in Europe, in the United States, and in Asia (including three partners and 16 associates in Paris). Twelve Hogan Lovells partners, covering seven different countries, were notably mentioned in "International Who's Who of Business Lawyers - Product Liability Defence 2012."
